I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also broken them in well that I understand how they really perform, and a variety of other factors about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where did you buy them?
I found mine on sale via Cettire and bought them that golden goose men way!
I ordered them on April 28th and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was super fast .
What’s the price?
Back in April, I found a deal for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.
You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and seventeen hundred depending on their level of detail.
Are they true to size?
Yes, they do run true to size, at least for me.
They haven’t stretched much, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up a size
Are they comfortable?
Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in..
Do they hold up well?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Next-level.
Would you recommend them?
Absolutely! Just try not to pay full price. They’re expensive, so getting them with a promo is a better idea. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a neutral version would also look great.

Placed my order on the 28th of April and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast – definitely a bonus
How much do they run?
When I grabbed my pair in spring, I paid just under $390, but their regular price is around $514.
You can expect to pay between four hundred bucks and $1,700 depending on their design features.
How is the fit?
I found them to fit true to size, at least for me. Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
Is the comfort worth it?
They’re extremely comfortable, and only took a few hours to break in.
Do they hold up well?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong.
Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
